ESPN to broadcast 14 local regular-season lacrosse games this season

ESPN will broadcast nine men’s and five women’s regular-season games featuring local lacrosse teams this season, the network announced Wednesday.

Eight of the Johns Hopkins men’s 13 games will be shown live or on tape delay this season, most among locals. The defending NCAA champion Maryland women will have three games on ESPNU.

The Big Ten Network, which regularly airs lacrosse games in the spring, has not announced its broadcast schedule yet.

Here’s when you can find ESPN’s local games:

MEN

Feb. 10, 6 p.m.: No. 14 Towson at No. 13 Johns Hopkins (ESPNU)

Feb 23, 5 p.m.: No. 9 North Carolina at No. 13 Johns Hopkins (ESPNU)

March 3, 6 p.m.: No. 19 Princeton at No. 13 Johns Hopkins (ESPN3; tape-delayed broadcast will air on ESPNU on March 4 at 10 a.m.)

March 17, 3 p.m.: Delaware at No. 13 Johns Hopkins (ESPN3; tape-delayed broadcast will air on ESPNU on March 18 at 10 a.m.)

March 24, 11:30 a.m.: No. 13 Johns Hopkins at No. 15 Virginia (ESPNU)
