IMLCA unveils recruiting website
The Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association announced on Tuesday the launch of its online recruiting resource at lacrossecoaches.org, which gives players, for the first time, the ability to instantly connect with every varsity college lacrosse coach in the country.
The database enables coaches to search for players using criteria including academic information, athletic achievements and club and high school coaches' contact information. And players have the ability to upload and update academic and athletic information in real time; learn about college camps, clinics, tournaments and other events; research colleges based on a variety of relevant criteria; and see which college coaches are looking at their athletic profiles.Historically, information about players has proved to be a time-consuming challenge for coaches to assemble and evaluate.
“This recruiting resource is a significant game-changer and time-saver for coaches at all levels,” said Phil Buttafuoco, executive director of the IMLCA.
