A couple of lopsided Patriot League wins boosted Loyola two spots in this week's Inside Lacrosse Brine Division I Women's Media Top 20 poll as Atlantic Coast Conference teams continue to dominate the Top 10.
The Greyhounds defeated Bucknell, 16-5, and Lehigh, 12-4, to improve to 3-0 in the Patriot League. After dropping four straight games, including three by one goal, the Greyhounds have won four straight to improve to 6-4.
Loyola started the season at No. 10 and jumped to No. 7 with a win over then-No. 8 Virginia in the season-opener. But after beating Princeton, the Greyhounds fell to then-unranked Johns Hopkins, 6-5, and James Madison, 8-7, and tumbled to No. 17. A 7-6 win over Towson started the turnaround followed by three straight wins in their debut in the Patriot League.

Maryland remains No. 2 behind defending national champ North Carolina as the ACC keeps its chokehold on the top four spots with Syracuse at No. 3 and Boston College at No. 4. Notre Dame is No. 6 and Duke moves up one spot to No. 9 as the ACC claims six of the top nine spots.
The Tar Heels got a scare from Boston College Saturday before winning, 14-13, and the Terps host Boston College Saturday at noon. The Tar Heels play at Northwestern Sunday. The Terps and Tar Heels are headed for a rematch of their triple-overtime national championship thriller on April 5 at noon in Chapel Hill.
Johns Hopkins is one of three teams keeping the ACC from jamming the top of the poll. The Blue Jays are 10-0 after edging Georgetown, 11-10 in overtime Friday night and retain the No. 7 spot.
Florida holds on at No. 5 while Northwestern, coming off an 11-7 loss at Syracuse, remains No. 8. Massachusetts trades places with Duke at No. 10.
Navy dropped five spots to No. 19 after suffering its first loss of the season to Patriot League newcomer Boston University, 9-8.
Towson fell out of the poll from No. 19 despite defeating Cal and UC Davis on a West Coast road trip. The Tigers continue to receive votes, just not enough to remain in the Top 20.
