The opening weekend of the high school football season left one undeniable impression: The quarterback class of 2015 is loaded with talent.
While Ricky Town of Ventura St. Bonaventure is already committed to Alabama, there are plenty of others to choose from.
Josh Rosen of top-ranked Bellflower St. John Bosco completed 12 of 15 passes for 307 yards and five touchdowns Friday in a 40-7 win over Compton Dominguez.

Turmoil at Upland didn't help the Highlanders in a 44-13 loss to Santa Ana Mater Dei.
Two assistant football coaches were fired earlier in the week and three players were declared ineligible as the result of a joint investigation by the Southern Section and Upland Unified School District after 13 transfer students showed up.
In its loss to Canyon, Westlake was without five suspended players because of a hotel incident last week in Hawaii.
A win is a win
Oaks Christian survived 568 yards rushing by Bakersfield to win, 51-50.
Bakersfield missed a 29-yard field goal attempt with six seconds left. Arizona-bound Brandon Dawkins passed for 415 yards and six touchdowns.
"We've got a long way to go," said Oaks Christian Coach Jeff Woodruff. "We have a lot of things to fix, clean up and get better. You can't put your defense on the field for 97 snaps."
