It doesn't take long after walk into the garage areas at the Kansas Speedway to realize there is something um different about some of the cars. Pink, lots of pink. From Clint Bowyer, Danica Patricks and Tony Raines cars (and a whole lote more in the Nationwide garage) to pit caps and ribons, theres plenty of pink at the track this weekend.
And it's for a good cause. Many drivers and their are decked out in pink to support breast cancer research.
"I've been fortunate that breast cancer hasn't effected my family directly, but it has effected the NASCAR family recently and I have friends and co-workers whose families have been effected," said Clint Bowyer. "It's a horrible disease, but there are people to help those facing a breast cancer diagnosis and that is where Living Beyond Breast Cancer comes in with information and resources."
