ANCHORAGE, Alaska —
The Boston Celtics are one of the premier franchises in all of team sports and Hydaburg's Damen Bell-Holter will have a chance to join the team.
Bell-Holter, who recently wrapped up his senior season at Oral Roberts, has been invited to the Celtics' training camp and will work out with the team for one month prior to the camp itself.
Bell-Holter, a 6'9" 245 pound forward, averaged 15.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game for the Golden Eagles as a senior, earning first team All-Southland Conference honors.
Two Alaskans are currently playing in the NBA. Carlos Boozer, a forward for the Chicago Bulls, and Mario Chalmers, a guard for the Miami Heat.
