The Seattle Seahawks have released cornerback London Durham, linebacker Adrian Moten, tackle Jon Opperud and guard/center Brent Osborne, the team announced today.
In their place, Seattle agreed to terms with tackle Alex Barron, tight end Cooper Helfet, cornerback Donny Lisowski and tackle Andrew Mitchell.
Barron was the 19th overall selection in the 2005 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams, starting 74 of 76 games played at right and left tackle. He spent the 2010 season in Dallas, playing in 11 games with one start and moved on to New Orleans last season, where he spent the season on injured reserve (knee).
Barron, Helfet, Lisowski and Mitchell were recently with the team at this past weekend's rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.
