Calexico resident and Oklahoma graduate Amber Flores was recently named as the new head coach at Seminole State in Seminole, Okla., stated a press release on www.soonersports.com

The three-time All-American heads to Seminole State after spending one year as an assistant coach at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, N.Y.
Flores holds the OU career records for home runs (56), extra base hits (99), walks drawn (163), slugging percentage (.703) and on-base percentage (.5245) while ranking second in runs scored (232), batting average (.369) and total bases (455), stated the press release.
