THE COACHES • IU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack enters her fourth season at the helm of the Hoosiers with a record of 71-55 and a career mark of 125-118. In three seasons, she has led the Hoosiers to 18-plus wins and three consecutive trips to the postseason. •Illinois head coach Jolette Law is in her third season leading the Illini with a 45-48 overall record.

SCOUTING THE ILLINI Illinois enters Thursday's game with a 15-13 overall mark after finishing the regular season with a two-game win streak. The Illini are led by Jenna Smith with 18.1 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. Karisma Penn is also averaging double-digit points with 10.9 points per contest. The Hoosiers are 0-2 against Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament, suffering defeats in 1982 (75-63) and 1996 (84-70).

WHAT BRAUN DOES FOR IU Senior Jamie Braun has recorded an outstanding career at Indiana and owns 1,590 career points, 683 rebounds, 377 assists and 221 steals as she enters her final postseason. Braun ranks seventh all-time in scoring in the IU record book, and ranks fourth in steals and assists and 10th in rebounds. She is a two-time All-Big Ten honoree and was the 2007 Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year. Braun is averaging 12.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and leads the Hoosiers with 51 steals on the season. She is also second on the squad in assists with 90.

WELCOME BACK Redshirt freshman Sasha Chaplin has returned to the court after missing 10 games with an injury and hasn't missed a step, averaging 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 24.6 minutes per game.

REACHING 1,000 Junior Jori Davis became the 22nd Hoosier to score 1,000 career points as a Hoosier at the 11:03 mark in the second half against Penn State on Sunday, Feb. 28. She is the third player under IU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack to reach the milestone (Jamie Braun, Whitney Thomas).

STEADY AS SHE GOES Jori Davis has been a steady force for the Hoosiers this season, scoring in double-digit points in 24 of IU's 29 games, with a high of 33 against Virginia on Nov. 26. She leads the Hoosiers on the season with 16.8 points per game and ranks fifth among the Big Ten on the season. In conference games, Davis also ranks fifth with 16.4 points per contest. Against Penn State on Feb. 28, Davis tallied 12 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in 38 minutes.

TINY BUT MIGHTY Whitney Lindsay may stand 5-7, but IU's junior point guard has made the most of her abilities this season. In 29 games, Lindsay is averaging 7.6 points, 3.14 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.

BENCH PRODUCTION The Indiana bench has produced 15.8 points per game this season. In five games, IU's reserves have combined for 30-plus points, including a 32-point effort against Penn State on Feb. 28.
