All-Howard County: Girls track
Performer of the Year
Funmi Alabi
Long Reach
The junior has become one of the area's top sprinters. Alabi set a meet record by winning the Class 3A 55-meter race in 7.0 seconds, which was the state's fastest time this winter, according to runningmaryland.com.
She swept the county, Class 3A East regional and state titles with ease in that event and also helped the Lightning in relays.
