The senior continued to develop into one of the area's top sprinters. She won the 55 and 300 meters at the county meet, and then captured the 55 in the Class 3A Central regional meet.
Tongue finished third in the 55 at the state meet and combined with Torrie Saunders to give the Panthers plenty of points all season.

The Wildcats took fourth in the county meet, but they followed that with a victory in the Class 4A Central regional meet.
Queen's team scored 74 points that day to beat good teams such as Dulaney, Chesapeake-AA and Old Mill.
