The Comets striker has targeted reaching 50 career goals, and she's well on her way after scoring six in the first week of her senior season. Her quick start has boosted her total to 44 goals in four years as a starter.
Last week, Nonn, an All-Baltimore County forward in 2006, scored all the goals in the No. 8 Comets' 3-0 win over Kenwood. Over the weekend, at the Catonsville Invitational, she scored two goals in a 4-1 win over Winters Mill and one goal in the 2-0 title-game win over No. 10 Centennial.
Nonn, who has a 4.35 weighted grade point average, plays three sports for Catonsville. An All-County midfielder on the lacrosse team, she is also a guard on the basketball team. Over the summer, she played in lacrosse tournaments with her Heroes club team, including All-Star Express. The team also competed at a tournament in Downingtown, Pa., in which it finished second in a field of 76 teams.
Nonn has committed orally to play lacrosse at Virginia Tech.
