Player of the Year
Corey Donohoe
North Harford

The senior put a stellar finishing touch on a fine career by scoring five goals on No. 1 Mount Hebron in the Class 3A-2A state final. Donohoe was the toughest player to contain all season, using her strength, skills and smarts to foil opposing defenses just as she did to the Vikings, who went on to edge her No. 7 Hawks, 7-6.

Despite drawing constant double teams, she scored 83 goals and had 44 assists. She had a 10-point game against Bel Air and scored the game-winner in double overtime against Fallston.

Donohoe led the Hawks to the Harford County title and to their first appearance in the state final.

Coach of the Year
Krystin Porcella
John Carroll

In her first season as head coach, Porcella guided the No. 3 Patriots to the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference crown. The Patriots had a few high-caliber players and a solid cast up and down the field. Porcella brought it all together for her alma mater.

A former All-County attacker at John Carroll and an All-America defender at Loyola College, Porcella made some big adjustments in the second half of the title game that helped the Patriots take a 10-9 overtime win over Severn. She also worked hard to convince her players they had the potential to take the title.
