Charlotte baseball getting quite a lift from 2 local pitchers

While McDonogh alum Joe Yermal has posted a 7-0 record along with a 2.73 ERA for the University of Charlotte baseball team, it is reliever Bryan Hamilton (Mount St. Joseph) who keeps delivering out of the bullpen for the 49ers.

Home-grown hitters power Blue Hens

Delaware freshman third baseman Michelle Grap (Centennial) was leading the team in home runs and RBIs with five and 25, respectively, through Tuesday, in addition to collecting 14 walks, having a .494 slugging percentage and a .362 on-base percentage.
