Mount St. Joseph: Kameron Williams, Jr., G; Phil Booth, So. G; Phil Lawrence, Sr., F.

OUTLOOK

The early showdown will provide a good indication of the things to come in what should be a balanced season in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference and Baltimore Catholic League. Both teams are off to undefeated starts, with a possible advantage going to the host Gaels, because they already have six games under the belts. The Panthers are deep, talented and athletic with smart transfer guards in Cook and Saddler, and a good inside presence in Forney. Myles has been most pleased with the contributions and positive energy he's received from his entire roster. The Gaels rely on determined man-to-man defense and smart decisions on the offensive end. Booth and Williams will need to hold their own in the Gaels' backcourt, take care of the ball and create offense. The home team also will need to rebound effectively, get back on defense to avoid easy baskets and stay out of foul trouble in the frontocurt.
