The senior rounded out a strong season with a highlight-reel performance at the prestigious Alhambra Catholic Invitational tournament last weekend at Frostburg State. He had a game-high 30 points and six rebounds to lead the Patriots to a 72-62 victory over rival Mount St. Joseph in their tournament finale. For the event, Jones averaged 21 points per game as John Carroll went 2-1, also defeating Benedictine College Prep (Va.) and losing to St. Benedict's Preparatory (N.J.). Jones, who has orally committed to Loyola, averaged 13.5 points and 6.7 rebounds this season, leading the Patriots to the MIAA A Conference tournament title when he had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks in the final against Mount St. Joe.
