94th Turkey Bowl
Loyola's Jake Nordhausen, back, blocks an extra-point attempt by Calvert Hall kicker Jake Soriano, with holder Mark Marciszewski, as Loyola's Chase Harman runs toward the play during overtime in the 94th annual Turkey Bowl. (Steve Ruark, For The Baltimore Sun /November 28, 2013)
Upon further review, Thursday's 94th annual Turkey Bowl was not, the first overtime game in series history.
It was at least the second.
In 2000, the annual Thanksgiving Day classic went into two overtimes before Calvert Hall stopped a two-point conversion attempt to preserve a 7-6 win.
The Sun regrets the error.
