Good Counsel finished the season as the unanimous No. 1, and for the first time in the poll's 23-year history, the top four teams won championships and held their positions from the end of the regular season.
Calvert Hall, the MIAA A Conference runner-up, moved up one spot to No. 7. Westminster, a Class 4A state semifinalist, moved up three spots to No. 9.
St. Paul's, the 11-0 MIAA B Conference champion, jumped from 17th to No. 11. Dunbar, the Class 1A state champion, rose from 15th to No. 12.
Four local teams that were not ranked at the end of the regular season moved into the poll: No. 18 Milford Mill, No. 20 Meade, No. 22 Atholton, and No. 24 Old Mill.
Franklin and Arundel both dropped – the Indians from No. 13 to No. 19 and the Wildcats from No. 6 to No. 21.
South River, Edmondson, St. Frances and New Town also received votes, but not enough to crack the Top 25.
