St. Paul's senior Billy Chizmar has been named a U.S. Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic All-American for the 2017 season.
The Crusaders' backup goalie, Chizmar was a three-sport athlete at St. Paul's who finished with a 4.72 GPA.
A two-year varsity player in lacrosse, he played in seven games for the Crusaders and had a .720 save percentage.
Chizmar also played football and ice hockey at St. Paul's. Academically, he was a St. Paul's scholar all four years in high school and a two-year member of the school's Cum Laude society.
He will play lacrosse at Colby College.
