St. Frances' Dwayne Morgan to compete in national slam dunk contest

St. Frances senior forward Dwayne Morgan will participate in the 2014 American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk Championship, set for Friday at Duncanville (Texas) High School.

The event will air on CBS at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Morgan, an All-Metro first-team selection, is one of six players selected from around the country to compete in the dunk contest.

He averaged 17 points and nine rebounds for the No. 9 Panthers this season and finished with 14 double doubles.  Committed to UNLV, Morgan is ranked No. 38 nationally in the 2014 ESPN 100 recruiting rankings.
