Spalding girls soccer coach Ashly Kennedy earns NSCAA regional award

Ashly Kennedy earns award after guiding the No. 1 Cavaliers to the IAAM A Conference championship

Archbishop Spalding girls soccer coach Ashly Kennedy has been named a regional Coach of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Kennedy, who guided the No. 1 Cavaliers (12-2-3) to the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference championship, was named the NSCAA private/parochial school South region Coach of the Year for the fall season.

Kennedy, a former standout player at St. Mary's, is 47-12-11 in her four seasons as coach at Spalding.
