Reservoir forward Zelor Massaquoi has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Grand Canyon University, the school announced Thursday.

"Zelor brings a depth of competitiveness that is hard to match," Antelopes coach Trent May said in a statement. "Her love for the game is exemplary in her work ethic, attitude and passion, and because of these qualities, we expect Zelor to have an impact early on. She will bring a lot of toughness and leadership to the Lopes program."

Massaquoi, an All-Metro second-team selection this season, averaged 21.1 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. She scored her 1,000th career point vs. Oakland Mills in February.

Grand Canyon, in Phoenix, Ariz., played its first Division I season in 2013-14 as a member of the Western Athletic Conference. The team, which included nine seniors, went 21-9 and lost in the first round of the Women's Basketball Invitational.
