Loyola officials have a few tips for those planning to attend the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Bowl football game against Calvert Hall at 10 a.m. at Johnny Unitas Stadium at Towson University. Here's their advice from a Monday news release:
"Tickets are on sale in the Calvert Hall and Loyola bookstores.
If any tickets remain, they will be sold the morning of the event.
Tickets cost $10.00 in pre-sale and at the gate (if available). This game is expected to sell out, so buy your tickets in advance. Don’t be caught waiting in line missing the start of the game or missing it entirely.
EVERYONE entering the stadium needs a ticket, even small children. There is no re-entry.
Loyola is on the South side of the stadium (press box side)."
That would put Calvert Hall on the North side (farthest from the Towson Center.).
"Parking is available at no charge on the street or in any number of TU garages and lots. Follow directional signs to available parking areas. Carpooling is highly recommended. Arrive early to obtain close parking. Parking lots will open at 7:30 a.m.
A few policies to be aware of:Tailgating is not permitted anywhere on Towson University property.
Persons under the influence will not be permitted into Johnny Unitas Stadium.
No artificial noise makers (horns, drums, etc.) will be permitted. Signs are allowed, but no sticks or poles. No one under 15 years of age will be allowed on the field.
