Kenwood football coach Andrew Goldbeck, coming off his team's 28-7 win over Catonsville last week, was named Ravens High School Coach of the Week on Wednesday.

The Bluebirds scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to break a 7-7 tie and run their record to 4-0, equaling last season's win total. Goldbeck is in his first year coaching at Kenwood.

"One of our themes this year is 'Winning Every Day,'” said Goldbeck, a former quarterback at Calvert Hall and Towson University. "We’re not just focused on winning on the scoreboard – it’s about winning each and every day in the classroom and on the practice field."

Kenwood, which allowed its first touchdown of the season last week, hosts Milford Mill on Friday. The Millers are coached by 2012 Ravens High School Coach of the Year Reggie White.
