Gilman quarterback Kai Locksley announced on Twitter Thursday that he has narrowed his college list to Auburn, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Texas, Oregon and Florida State -- in no particular order.

Locksley, the son of Maryland offensive coordinator Mike Locksley, has more than 20 offers.

A 6-foot-4, 200-pound dual-threat quarterback, Locksley ran for 795 yards and 14 touchdowns and threw for 875 yards and five touchdowns last fall as a junior.

He led the No. 2 Greyhounds (7-3) to a 5-1 record in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference and also led them to an early-season win over Good Counsel, which was ranked No. 1 in the state at the time.

Locksley, a second-team All-Metro pick last fall, is rated a 4-star quarterback by Rivals.com and is listed by the recruiting website as the No. 1 recruit in the state in the Class of 2015. He is one of four local players nominated to play in the 15th annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl Jan. 3.
