The Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference is widely considered the deepest and most talented high school league in the country. More proof comes on Tuesday, when the league closes out another regular season with so much left to be determined.

The nation's consensus No. 1 team, Boys' Latin, is undefeated and still fighting for the top seed in the playoffs. The No. 1 Lakers (15-0, 8-0) will host No. 2 St. Paul's (12-5, 7-1) with first place on the line. It's just one of a number of key games to close out the regular season.

Defending league champion Loyola (8-7, 4-4) will travel to Calvert Hall (12-5, 4-4), with the winner making the six-team postseason tournament and the loser missing out.

The MIAA A playoffs get started on Friday with the No. 3 seed hosting the No. 6 seed and the No. 4 seed hosting the No. 5 seed.  The semifinals will take place on Tuesday, May 13 with the championship game set for Friday, May 16.
