Bel Air girls soccer coach Josh Clemmer stepping down

The Bobcats reached the state tournament five times with one crown during his watch

Bel Air girls soccer coach Josh Clemmer, who went 111-44-10 with one state title in 10 seasons as coach, has stepped down to accept an administrative position at Fallston for the coming school year.

Under his guidance, the Bobcats made five state tournaments -- including the past four -- with the title coming in 2015.  They also are four-time defending Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference champions.

Clemmer was named All-Metro Coach of the Year in 2015 after leading the Bobcats to a 19-0 season and the Class 3A crown.

"It's always tough leaving and the toughest part for me will be leaving the soccer program because I've developed strong relationships with the players, families and community," Clemmer said. "I'm very proud where the program is and the work we've put in and sad to go. But everything is set up for them to continue to be successful."

Clemmer will become an assistant principal at Fallston.
