Aquille Carr headlines high school hoops event at DeMatha

Local basketball fans will have a chance to see former Patterson guard Aquille Carr play this weekend just down the road from Baltimore.

Carr, a two-time Baltimore Sun All-Metro Player of the Year, will lead his Princeton Day Academy squad in the National High School Hoops Festival at DeMatha. Carr's PDA squad faces Huntington (W.Va.) Prep on Sunday at 4:45 p.m. Huntington features Andrew Wiggins, the No. 1-ranked player in the 2013 class according to Rivals.com and Scout.com.

At least one primary Maryland target will also be in attendance this weekend. Shooting guard Dion Wiley, who claims a Terps offer, will lead his Potomac High squad against St. John's (D.C.) on Saturday at 2:45 p.m.
