The second annual Shootout for Soldiers, a 24-hour marathon lacrosse game to support the Wounded Warriors Project, is set for 9 a.m. June 13 through 9 a.m. June 14 at McDonogh.

Last year’s inaugural event, which took place at Boys’ Latin, raised $120,000 to support wounded American troops and brought together more than 1,000 lacrosse players.

All lacrosse players 10 years and older can participate, with a girls game added to this year’s event.

The minimum fee is $20 per participant, with all proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project.
