A number of area boys and girls soccer standouts have been named to TopDrawerSoccer's All-America Watch List.

Seven boys were recognized: Tunde Akinlosotu (McDonogh), Michael DeShields (McDonogh), Mike Heitzmann (River Hill), Daniel Kwon (Severna Park), Erumuse Momoh (McDonogh) Kyle Saunderson (Reservoir) and Connor Smith (McDonogh).

Four girls were listed: Bridgette Andrzejewski (McDonogh), Alex Hamer (River Hill), Jennifer Nonn (Catonsville) and Jenna Surdick (Arundel).

Both watch lists consist of 250-plus players from across the country and are dominated by those who received prior state, regional and national recognition, and/or players who have verball committed to college programs.

TopDrawerSoccer will revise the list as the fall season progress with new names potentially added each Thursday.

Players will be removed only if they are no longer playing high school soccer due to choice or injury.

The purpose of the lists are to track players who might be eligible for postseason recognition.
