Kelly Lacy

Towson, hitter, senior

•Another player who excelled all over the court, Lacy was the leader of a team that advanced to the Class 3A state semifinals and compiled a 15-2 record

•The four-year starter leaves with four regional titles, four Baltimore County championships, three appearances in the state tournament and a state title

•Contributed 161 kills and a near-perfect serve receive rating

•Will attend Jacksonville next season and play lacrosse

Trisha Mockapetris

Centennial, hitter, junior

•After taking over the leadership role for the Eagles, led the team to the regional championship

•Showed her versatility all over the court, recording 234 kills and chipping in 204 digs

•Posted a serving percentage of .924

•Was an All-Metro second-team performer last season

Jamie Rombach

Archbishop Spalding, hitter, senior

•Led No. 1 Spalding to an undefeated season and the IAAM A Conference title

•Recorded 17 kills, 15assists and seven digs in the championship, a 3-1 win over Mount de Sales

Her 291 kills for the season led the Cavaliers; her 260 assists and 229 digs placed her second on the team in both categories

•Has narrowed her college choices to Stevenson, Immaculata and St. Mary's, and will play volleyball

Amber Wiswell

River Hill, hitter, senior

•Transfer from Southern California led the Hawks to an undefeated record in Howard County and a berth in the Class 3A state championship

•The 5-foot-11 senior was a towering presence at the net, recording 13 kills in the state semifinal win against La Plata and 19 more in a five-set loss to North Hagerstown in the final

•Finished with 162 kills and 64 blocks, both tops for River Hill

•Wants to play volleyball in college but hasn't decided where

Lindsay Tapley

Arundel, hitter-setter, senior

•One of the most complete players in the area, excelled in both the front and back row

•Had nine digs to lead the Wildcats in the Class4A state title game; led the team in assists with 14 in a state semifinal victory over Bowie

•Compiled 86 kills, 279 assists, 27 blocks, 103 digs and 60 aces this season

•Wants to attend Salisbury next year and play volleyball

Chelsea Owensby Mount de Sales, setter, junior

•Playing her third year on varsity, led the eighth-ranked Sailors to a 13-3 record and runner-up status in the tough IAAM A Conference

•Recorded 35 assists and nine digs in the AConference championship match against Spalding

•Led the team in assists with 494 and was second in digs with 129

•Took on more of a leadership role this year after the graduation of Hannah Schmidt, The Baltimore Sun's 2010 Player of the Year

Katie Graziano

Archbishop Spalding, libero, senior

•Captained the back line of the area's top team, leading the Cavaliers to an undefeated record and an A Conference title

•Had 509 digs to lead one of the area's toughest defenses

•Put 93 percent of her serves in play for a team that lost only 10 sets all year en route to a 20-0 record

•Undecided where she will attend college
