Ravens RISE Football Showdown comes to Baltimore City in Week 7

The Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown comes to Baltimore City for Week 7 with three games vying for a visit from Poe on Friday, Oct. 13 and a donation to their athletic departments.

Southwestern at Lake Clifton, Friday, 3:45 p.m.

Reginald Lewis at Forest Park, Friday, 3:45 p.m.

Fans can vote as many times as they want through Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.

Three new games will be featured each week of the regular season with the selected game receiving a visit from the Ravens mascot Poe and some Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders.* The stadium will be outfitted in Ravens banners and flags. In addition, $1,000 will be donated to each of the two participating school's athletic department, with each team receiving T-shirts to commemorate their experience playing in the Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown.

This fall, more votes will earn more prizes for the winning teams. So far this season, the most votes for a week and for one game have come in the Eastern Shore showdown. Cambridge-South Dorchester and Queen Anne’s won with 364,053 of the total 712,983 votes cast that week.

Following are the extra prizes teams can win with more votes:

5,000,000 Game Votes – Extra $5,000 donation to winning schools’ athletic departments: A $2,500 donation will be made to each school in the winning game.

1,000,000 Game Votes – Ravens player appearance: A current or former Raven will sign autographs, take photos and mingle with fans for one hour at the winning game.

750,000 Game Votes – Ravens eyes: The iconic glowing red Ravens eyes will be on display for fan photos prior to the game and during the first half.

500,000 Game Votes – Ravens autographed raffle items: Three raffles will be held during the game for fans to win signed a football, helmet and/or jersey.

250,000 Game Votes – In-game promotions: A field goal kick or suit-up relay race will be held during a quarter break for fans to win Ravens game tickets or an autographed item.

Fans, students and community members can vote early and often, but artificial voting will be monitored and is prohibited.
