Thursday night’s girls soccer showdown featuring No. 5 Hereford at No. 6 Sparrows Point was suspended after 10 minutes of play because of lightning.
The postponement date has yet to be set.
The game was a rematch of last year’s Baltimore County title game, which Hereford won, 3-2.
Sparrows Point went on to capture its Maryland-record fifth straight Class 1A state championship, while Hereford reached the Class 2A title game.
