5. Bryn Mawr
Last season: 15-2, No. 4
Postseason: IAAM A Conference semifinalist
Outlook: After graduating a talented senior class, including goalkeeper Molly Wolf, from a team that lost only to McDonogh and Maryvale last season, the Mawrtians will be young. They have balance and better overall speed, as well as another strong keeper in Ellie DeGarmo.
Coach: Becky Groves
Last season: 18-1, No. 3
Postseason: Class 3A-2A state champion
Outlook: The Knights graduated a pair of exceptional leaders, but they return nine starters and a handful of seniors who can handle those leadership roles. They also return four sophomores with state final experience, so look for the Knights to make a run at their seventh state title in 10 years.
7. Mount Hebron
Coach: Trish Derwart
Last season: 15-3, No. 10
