The senior forward dominated at Bel Air's Bobcat Cup on Saturday, leading No. 2 Mercy (5-1) to the tournament title. In the tournament opener, a 5-1 win over then-No. 14 Perry Hall, Prior-Brown accounted for three goals and one assist. In the final against Class 3A state runner-up Huntingtown, she scored two goals — including the game-winner and added an assist in a 3-1 victory. Earlier in the week, she had two goals and assist playing in the first half of a 6-0 win against Institute of Notre Dame. For the season, the Magic co-captain has 12 goals and nine assists despite constant double-teams. The four-year starter scored 21 goals and 10 assists last season to earn first-team All-Metro honors. Prior-Brown has committed to play at Maryland next fall.
