Surhoff completed her high school career by winning two individual events in record time and anchoring two victorious relays in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland B Conference swimming championships. The senior, a veteran of the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, broke a seven-year old record in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing in 56.18 seconds, completing a sweep of the event in every dual meet and championship during her four years at St. Paul's. She also bettered her own record in the 100 breaststroke, finishing in 1 minute, 3.36 seconds. Both are records for all conferences. Surhoff also swam on the Gators' winning 400 freestyle and 200 medley relays. The daughter of former Orioles outfielder B.J. Surhoff, she has never lost an individual event in a dual meet with the Gators. She has signed to swim next season at Texas, where her brother Austin is a senior on the Longhorns' swim team.
