The top 2013 recruit from the Baltimore area, according to Rivals.com, Poggi helped the No. 1 Greyhounds defense dominate New Jersey powerhouse Don Bosco Prep in their 13-6 win at the 9/11 Patriot Classic at Navy. Poggi, a 6-foot-4, 255-pound All-Metro defensive tackle, had 3 1/2 sacks, nine tackles and two tackles for a loss. He also had three catches for 32 yards as a tight end. In the season's first three games, Poggi has six sacks, 23 tackles and five tackles for a loss. Rated the No. 2 defensive tackle in the country by Rivals.com, Poggi, who has a 3.6 GPA, has committed to Michigan.
