Junior Jason Noss went 7-0, pinning six opponents and taking a major (16-4) decision from the other last weekend at the C.M. Wright Duals. The performance helped the Huskies' wrestling team to a 5-2 tournament record and improved their overall season record to 15-6. This is Noss' first season on the varsity. "This is huge," his coach Ryan Arist said. "Looking at a JV wrestler moving up to varsity, I thought he'd take his lumps. But except for two decisions, all his wins are by pins. He scores six points almost every time." Noss is 18-3 this season. Arist said Noss has learned to use his 6-foot frame to his advantage and knows how to "find a way to finish." Noss carries a 3.0 GPA.
