Visiting No. 3 Archbishop Curley enjoyed another impressive road win Thursday in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference, getting past No. 2 Loyola, 3-1.
After taking a 1-0 lead on an own goal, the Friars (6-2) went ahead 2-0 when Tre Pulliam scored his first goal early in the second half. The Dons (5-2, 2-1) tried to get back into the game when Ryan Conrad slipped behind the Friars defense to make it 2-1, but Pulliam put the game away with a late goal.
The Friars, who won, 3-1, at No. 4 Gilman on Monday, took better advantage of fewer chances. "That's soccer," Loyola coach Lee Tschantret said. "You can control the game and play well but lose if you don't make the most of your chances."

No. 4 Gilman 2, No. 8 Mount St. Joseph 1: The host Gaels (4-4) went up 1-0 with 25 minutes left in the game before the Greyhounds scored twice over the next 10 minutes to win.
No. 7 Calvert Hall 2, Archbishop Spalding 1: Jacob Bender scored the game-winner from 8 yards out with 1:30 left in the game. The Cardinals (5-2) scored twice over the final 5:30.
Catonsville 2, No. 14 Eastern Tech 0: Emmanuel Amihere scored a goal in each half to lead the balanced Comets (6-1) to an upset victory over the Mavericks (8-1).
Eastern Tech 1, No. 6 Catonsville 0: Brandie Bryant scored the game-winner in the second half as the Mavericks upset the Comets (5-1).
No. 11 Arundel 2, Southern 1, OT: Allison Shaner scored the game-winner on a direct kick four minutes into overtime for the visiting Wildcats (8-0).
No. 3 South River 4, Chesapeake-AA 0: Jennie Milligan had a hat trick to power the host Seahawks (7-1-1) past the Cougars.
No. 7 Severna Park 7, North County 0: Sam Slattery scored twice to lead the visiting Falcons (7-1) past the Knights.
