Alexis Lyttle had 11 strikeouts as No. 9 North Harford (13-4) shut out Havre de Grace, 7-0, in Harford County softball Monday.

The visiting Hawks were led by Julianne Caughron ,who went 3-for-4 with a home run. In addition, Kaitlin Horsey and Krista Hiser both were 3-for-4 at the plate.

No. 14 Bel Air 8, Harford Tech 0: Also in Harford County action, Rayn Gibson was the winning pitcher, giving up four hits and striking out eight.

Atholton 9, Marriotts Ridge 0: Pitcher Alex Herschman earned her ninth win of the season, allowing two hits and recording nine strikeouts as the Raiders beat the host Mustangs in Howard County league action. Maya Schwartz went 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs. Amanda Petersen was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs.

Baseball

No. 4 Reservoir 13, Hammond 2: Danny O'Hagan had a double and a home run to lead the visiting Gators (17-2) over the Golden Bears in Howard County league action. Jack Barry also had a home run for Reservoir.

Bel Air 1, Harford Tech 0: The host Bobcats scored the game's only run in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Cobras' Travis Hash was the losing pitcher, going six innings and giving up five hits.

Lacrosse

C. Milton Wright's girls and Bel Air's boys won Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference lacrosse titles at James R. Harris Stadium in Havre de Grace.

The Mustangs (10-4) defeated Edgewood (9-4), 17-3, giving them their third straight crown and fourth overall. Bel Air (12-1) beat North East, 12-6, for its second title.

No. 1 McDonogh 18, John Carroll 9: Megan Whittle had six goals as the Eagles (19-0) beat the Patriots in an IAAM A Conference quarterfinal matchup. Brindi Griffin and Elizabeth George added four goals each for McDonogh, which won its 110th consecutive game.
