Visiting Arundel broke a tie in the fourth quarter and upset No. 13 Mount St. Joseph, 11-7, in lacrosse Wednesday.
The Wildcats (2-0) outscored the Gaels (6-1), 5-1, in the final quarter.
Brett Malamphy (3 goals) won 15 of 19 faceoffs for Arundel. The Wildcats won 32 ground balls to the Gaels' 18.
Cam Cetrone and Tyler Young also had hat tricks for Arundel.
No. 8 Hereford 7, No. 2 Gilman 6: Jack Adams had two goals and two assists as the host Bulls (1-1) upset the Greyhounds (3-1).
No. 5 McDonogh 16, Bullis School 3: The host Eagles (5-1) jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the first quarter and were never threatened. The Bulldogs fell to 2-4.
Robert Clark had four goals, and Villanova-bound Austin Frederick had one goal and four assists for the Eagles.
No. 6 Loyola 12, Episcopal Dallas (Texas) 9: Kevin O'Toole (2 goals) won all 24 faceoffs and the host Dons (3-2) outscored the Eagles (7-3), 7-5, in the second half.
No. 9 Severn 15, Annapolis 5: Ryan Lamon scored seven goals to power the Admirals (4-1) past the host Panthers (0-2).
John Carroll 11, Friends 6: Boomer Walton had a hat trick to lead the visiting Patriots (3-1) past the Quakers.
New Town 13, Carver A&T 3: Aaron Scott and Rayshawn Clark each scored three goals and the host Titans (2-0) rolled past the Wildcats (0-2).
No. 8 Loyola 7, Old Mill 0: Winner Bruce Zimmerman pitched five scoreless innings and hit a three-run homer for the visiting Dons (4-2).
No. 12 Dulaney 5, Towson 4: Winner Kris Ewers pitched three innings of relief and hit a homer for the visiting Lions (2-1).
No. 7 C. Milton Wright 8, North Harford 4: Caroline Weimer (3-for-3) had an RBI and scored two runs for the host Mustangs (2-0).
