Dionna White scored a team-high 24 points to lead No. 4 Milford Mill over visiting Hereford 57-49 in a Class 3A North Regional quarterfinal girls basketball game Monday. Qierra Murray had 14 points and Kelli Smoot added 12 for the Millers.
Junior Nicole Viscuso led the Bulls with 31 points and 19 rebounds.
No. 5 Digital Harbor 85, Parkville 10: In a Class 3A North Regional quarterfinal game, the host Rams' Miqueara Lewis scored 15 points and Jaida Scarborough and Tye Smith each scored 16 to pace Digital Harbor in the win.
No. 7 City 66, Bel Air 32: Dyzhanay Burton had points and Treina Ford had 14 to lead the Knights over the visiting Bobcats in a Class 3A North Regional quarterfinal.
No. 8 Poly 49, Westminster 38: Aneah Young and Teira Pendleton combined for 30 points as the Engineers defeated the visitors from Carroll County in a Class4A North Regional quarterfinal.
No. 14 Patterson Mill 72, North East 36: Morgan Golec scored 21 points, Samantha Herman had 12 and Stephanie Ehly scored 10 points as the Huskies beat the visiting Indians in 2A East Regional quarterfinal action.
Dunbar 60, Northwestern 11: Brina Smith had 19 points to lead the host Poets over the Wildcats in a Class1A North Regional quarterfinal. LaShay Stackhouse added 14 for the winners.
Severna Park 56, Old Mill 37: Rachel Vander-Kolt had 21 points, nine rebounds and three steals as the visiting Falcons beat the Patriots in a Class 4A East Regional quarterfinal. Hannah Carroll added 15 points in the victory.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
