Kenny Sherrod made two free throws in the closing 52 seconds as No. 7 New Town rallied in the second half to beat host Owings Mills, 50-48, Wednesday night.
Koran Ford had a game-high 20 points for the Eagles (9-9). The Eagles led 23-20 at the half and 48-46 with less than a minute to go.
Sherrod, Danny Shand and Devon Smith each had 10 points for the Titans (17-4).
No. 8 Randallstown 80, Towson 42: Jerell Cooke had a game-high 29 points and the host Rams (17-3) never trailed. The Generals fell to 6-9.
IAAM: The Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A and BConference basketball semifinals scheduled for today have been postponed until Saturday.
The C Conference semifinals scheduled for Friday have also been moved to Saturday.
No. 3 Roland Park will host No. 5 St. Vincent Pallotti at 2 p.m. Saturday. Other times have not been set and will be determined by the host schools.
The championship games have been moved from Sunday to Monday at Archbishop Spalding with the C Conference at 3 p.m., the A Conference at 5 p.m. and the B Conference at 7:30 p.m.
Because of snow predictions for today, officials postponed some regional wrestling matches and the state dual meet championship.
The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association announced Wednesday that the state dual meet semifinals and finals would be held Tuesday at North Point, rather than Saturday, to accommodate the regional meets that were postponed because of predicted snow.
Winners of the eight regional meets — all originally scheduled for Wednesday — advance to the state dual meet championship.
The 4A-3A East regional, featuring bouts between No. 6 River Hill and No. 7 Glenelg as well as No. 4 Bel Air and No. 10 Old Mill, has been moved to Saturday at 1 p.m.
The 2A-1A East regional, which featured North Caroline, Harford Tech, Patterson Mill and Wicomico at North Caroline, has been moved to Saturday at 1p.m. So has the 2A-1A West regional, which includes Mountain Ridge, Southern Garrett, South Carroll and Middletown at Mountain Ridge.
The 4A-3A South regional, which includes Huntingtown, La Plata, Stephen Decatur and Leonardtown, has also been moved to Saturday.
No. 5 Hereford 35, No. 15 Sparrows Point 34: The Bulls (24-4) trailed 34-29 with one match left in the regional championship of Class 2A-1A North. Dylan Gray (160 pounds) got a pin to lift Hereford to victory. The Pointers fell to 27-3.

Gilman wins: The Greyhounds (12-1) claimed their seventh straight Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association team championship 5-2 over Friends.
Davis Owen, playing in the No. 1 spot, put Gilman ahead 3-2 with a 3-0 victory.
