No. 3 Archbishop Spalding 53, South River 49: The host Cavaliers (18-1) built a large enough lead in the first half to survive a second-half rally by the Seahawks (12-3).
The loss ended an eight-game winning streak for South River.
The Seahawks trailed 35-18 at halftime before winning both the third and fourth quarters, but they still came up short. Tori Chestnut scored 14 points for Spalding and Tiffany McKinney and Bria Bolden each scored a game-high 17 points.
