A four-year starter, Axenfeld provides strong two-way play at center midfield. She defends, creates for teammates and can score. Bryn Mawr, midfielder, junior
One of the most technically sound midfielders in the area, Barger can dominate the flow of a game with her fine ball skills and vision. She scored a goal and added an assist in leading the Mawrtians to a 3-0 win over St. John's for the program's first Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference title last year, finishing the season with 11 goals and 15 assists.
Winters Mill, forward, junior
Cyr came into her own offensively when she moved from midfield to forward early last season, finishing with a Carroll County-high 14 goals to go with three assists. How's this for stingy: The second-team All-Metro selection posted 16 shutouts and yielded only four goals in going 20-0-1 for the IAAM A Conference champion Cavaliers last year. Athletic, technically sound and a strong voice in the back, McCoy will be leaned on heavily with the team's defense losing key pieces to graduation.

Maryvale Prep, midfielder, senior
A standout in her first two seasons when the Lions played in the IAAM B Conference, Tana felt right at home when the team made the jump to the tough A Conference last fall. Fallston, midfielder, senior
In her third varsity season, Yapps controls the middle of the field for the defending Class 2A state champion Cougars with a combination of skill, determination and grit.
