Girls soccer: By the numbers


Area teams that advanced to the state tournament last year. At least one team from Baltimore and the four surrounding counties reached the state semifinals in the four classifications, with Loch Raven (Class 1A) and Fallston (2A) going on to capture titles.


Consecutive wins to close out last season by Bryn Mawr, which captured the program's first Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland B Conference championship. The Mawrtians (13-4) won the title with a 3-0 victory over St. John's Catholic Prep to finish with seven straight shutouts.


Goal differential enjoyed by defending Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference champion Archbishop Spalding last season. In going 20-0-1, the Cavaliers scored 77 goals while yielding only six.
