Gabby Brooks, Patterson Mill, goalie, senior
She allowed just five goals in the regular season last year and led her team to the Class 1A state semifinals. Brooks was a second-team All-Metro and All-State selection last season.
Christina Conrad, Fallston, forward, senior
A four-year varsity player and all All-State pick last season, Conrad is powerful in the circle and a strong distributor. A silver medalist at the 2009 Junior Olympics, her performance on this year's AAU Junior Olymlpics team propelled her to USA Field Hockey's Future Elite squad.
Paige Duncan, Broadneck, forward, senior
The Bruins' top returning scorer (13 goals, seven assists last season), has outstanding skills, speed and game sense.
Stacey Mackintosh, South River, midfielder/defender, junior
A first team All-Anne Arundel County player last season, she played strong defense while chipping in offensively with a goal and six assists. Mackintosh will be counted on to help plug the hole left by Brooke Griffin, The Baltimore Sun's 2009 Player of the Year.
Cody Magness, Garrison Forest, forward, senior
A four-year starter, Magness has been the Grizzlies' second-leading scorer each of the past two years, with nine and 12, goals, respectively. She will be expected to provide leadership this season.
Alyssa Parker, Glenelg, forward, junior
The first-team All-Metro selection and team captain 26 goals and 24 assists last season. A Junior Olympian, she has been named to the Futures Elite team.
Jill Remenapp, Century, midfielder, senior
Remenapp led Carroll County in scoring with 14 goals and 20 assists last season. This will be her fourth season starting on the varsity team.
Madeline Ross, Severna Park, midfielder, senior
Ross was the team's third-leading scorer last season as a midfielder. She's a smart player with a kanck for always being in the right place at the right time.
Caroline Seats, Roland Park, forward, senior
The three-time IAAM All-Star and the team's leading scorer, Seats brings quality leadership in addition to potent offense.
Karen Smith, Dulaney, defender, senior
She is the anchor on a Lions squad that won a regional title last season. Smith has good field sense, quick reactions and takes control of the defense.
