No. 11 Loyola upset by Georgetown Prep in Little Hoyas' first MIAA A Conference win

Georgetown Prep 20, No. 11 Loyola 16: The Little Hoyas took their first MIAA A Conference victory of the season with a big second half at Loyola on Sunday afternoon. Two Jake Clise touchdown passes to Deemer Class gave the Dons a 14-0 halftime lead, but a couple of long touchdown runs got the Little Hoyas back in it and three turnovers hurt the Dons. The Little Hoyas (3-6, 1-5) took their first lead 20-14 in the fourth quarter. The Dons added a safety and a couple of strong drives but fumbled on one and Clise's long pass to the end zone with six seconds left was picked off.

The loss drops the Dons to 4-4 overall and 1-3 in the A Conference, ending their shot at a playoff berth, said Loyola coach Brian Abbott.
