McDonoghThe versatile junior's talent was on display at the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland championship meet, as she helped McDonogh cruise to victory. Brown won the 55-meter hurdles and the long jump, and came in second in the shot put.
Her combination of speed, strength and skill is rare among boys or girls.
Brown was undefeated in the regular season in the 55 hurdles and scored victories at the Frostbite Invite, the Howard County and Montgomery invitationals. She also won in a meet at Virginia Tech.
She ran the 2,200 hurdles relay at the Nike Nationals and finished fourth there, earning All-America status.
