The senior outside hitter led No. 14 Covenant to two wins last week to improve its record to 6-0. In a 3-1 upset over then-No. 8 Archbishop Spalding, Happel finished with 28 kills, eight aces and 19 digs. She followed that performance with 13 kills, three aces and seven digs in a 3-0 win over Chapelgate. After starting her high school career as a setter in her freshman season, Happel made the switch to hitter and has thrived, totaling 801 kills, 824 assists, 820 digs and 70 blocks in her career. Happel has accepted a full volleyball scholarship to Liberty in Lynchburg, Va.
